Overview

Sr. Navy ERP Functional Analyst

 

Bowhead seeks a Sr. Navy ERP Functional Analyst to support our PEO MLB customer at the Washington Navy Yard. Candidate will provide SAP Finance (FI, FM, CO, SD, and PS) and/Or SAP Supply (IM/WM, MM, OF) expertise to the Government Leads.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and inputs to the Government leads in all phases (Plan and Analyze, Design, Build, Test & Deployment, Go live and support) of the software development lifecycle.
  • Assist the Government in identifying technical risks early and develop mitigation steps.
  • Assist the Government in monitoring key business and technical metrics and building report metrics to establish trends. Assist in analyzing key information yielded by the metrics, such as requirements volatility and design stability.
  • Assist the Government in conducting analysis of performance enhancements, business drivers, costs and schedule, with resolution of integration issues.
  • Assist the Government with the preparation of documents and briefs that will be utilized during the governance board meetings to facilitate Government decisions regarding proposed changes in terms of cost, schedule, technical impact, and business impact.
  • Assist the Government with analysis of current and planned Navy (and other DoD) Small Business Innovative Research and Technology Transition efforts that may be leveraged in satisfying requirements and/or demands of Navy Enterprise Business solution portfolio of systems and capabilities. Provide assessment and recommendations for the Government, including likely impacts to system(s), configuration(s), sustainment, and user experience enhancements.
  • Regularly collaborates with APM/Portfolio Managers to brief upcoming requirements.
  • Coordinate across portfolio teams to endure solution is well orchestrated across Navy ERP to reduce the risk of solution conflicts.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in SAP Functional analysis, solution architecture and support for DoD/DON programs and a BA/BS degree in related field.
  • Must have experience in either SAP Finance (FI, FM, CO, SD, and PS) Or SAP Supply (IM/WM, MM, OF) experience with significant recent experience in integration and data management
  • Must have recent experience working on Navy / DoD ERP projects.
  • Must be highly skilled in written and verbal English and must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver technical briefings on findings.
  • Must be capable of working both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Experience with highly customized solutions
  • Knowledge of Interface and IDoc processes and development • Middleware knowledge and its application across ERP Programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, or individually as needed.
  • Excellent communications skills to be able to deliver recommendations, advice and express concerns in both written and verbal formats.
  • Comfortable with developing and delivering briefings to all levels of Government leadership. 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
