PROGRAM ANALYST Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst with an active Secret clearance to perform a variety of program support functions to the CECOM Security Management Directorate (SAMD). 


The Program Analyst shall provide financial, administrative and records management functions within program management in support of the Financial Analyst group. Essential functions will include:

  • Provide program analysis support to team members
  •  Provide a variety of records management functions.
  •  Pull reports and data from DOD, FMS (Foreign Military Sales), and Financial databases.
  •  Respond to inquiries regarding Status of Funds for FMS cases
  •  Manage the mailbox of incoming requests for information and financial reports
  •  Work with team members and outside agencies to identify discrepancies and track down resolutions and answers.


  • Bachelors' degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Commitment to quality customer service and customers needs with a dedicated attitude that ensures mission success
  • Experience working in different types of database systems.
  •  Prior DOD experience preferred.
  •  Experienced with Microsoft Office software suite, in particular Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to see both the details and the big picture. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:  Office Environment - - The environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting.  Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.
