FINANCIAL ANALYST- Senior (USGC-2022-17650-F):


Bowhead is seeking Senior Financial Analysts to provide Business and Financial Management, and Program Office Administration Support to the USCG Office of International Acquisition (CG-922).



Job Duties include but are not limited to: 


  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Developing spend plans
  • Tracking actual obligations and expenditures versus planned using ERP and EDW software
  • Updating Cobra spend plans at least monthly,
  • Tracking financial commitments and expenditures
  • Participating in month-end close duties to ensure financial data is accurate in compliance with GAAP
  • Compiling financial data to provide the Business Unit Financial Analyst to complete action items and data calls
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders
  • Other projects/duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience in USCG or DOD budgeting, formulation, and execution.
  • Five (5) years FMS USCG or DOD case-level financial and business operations experience.
  • Experienced use of Microsoft Office Suite 2016 and Adobe XI Pro.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team



Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically



SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
