Overview

Senior Management Analyst

 

Bowhead seeks a Sr. Management Analyst to support the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) contract in Quantico, VA. The Sr. Management Analyst will support the MCSC in the management and implementation of policy guidance, training development and delivery support of Command-wide solutions that include coordinating emerging logistics initiatives with external stakeholders. The Sr. Management Analyst will have expertise in Marine Corps Acquisitions and Logistics to include integrated product support, data mining, logistics, and maintenance data systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Research and developing analysis, and compiling data.
  • Conducting research, developing analyses, and compiling data builds on Government-specified acquisition logistics and products, and related logistics disciplines issues.
  • Developing and providing point papers, presentations, and reports regarding the research, analyses and data builds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and eight to ten years’ experience; thorough understanding of DON and Marine Corp logistics regulations and policies; specialized training/certifications and/or experience in Acquisitions Life Cycle Logistics; certification in Life Cycle Logistics is preferred
  • Experience with Marine Corp and DoD Logistics Database systems
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Public Trust level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
