Overview

Bowhead seeks a to hire a Cyber security Engineer to join our team at Hill AFB, UT to support the A-10 Weapon System Support, Analysis, Test, and Integration contract. The A-10 WSSATI contract is critical in supporting the A-10C weapon system (and any future Mission Design Series - MDS), and in facilitating the role of the A-10 SPO as a highly successful prime integrator. The Program Analyst will provide technical assistance with analyzing diverse complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in DoD Program Protection with specific experiences with protecting critical information, technology, and components.
  • Creation of required plans for successful execution of DoD defense acquisition programs, including Program Protection, Anti-Tamper, etc., in accordance with DoDI 5000.02.
  • Collaborate directly with government customers to create policy, process, and implement appropriate tools for architecting, modeling, and designing system security countermeasures with Anti-tamper techniques and technologies that can defend against adversary attacks.
  • Work across organizational boundaries and lead teams to evaluate the consequence of compromise of Critical Program Information (CPI) and apply systems engineering experience to define the defense-in-depth approach that best protects the systems critical technology.
  • Trained as an Anti-Tamper subject matter expert to support different A-10 projects.

Qualifications

  • Five (5+) years of Cybersecurity/Systems Engineering experience.
  • Bachelors degree in cybersecurity or other relevant technical degree.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have and able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level with the ability to obtain a Top Secret level clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Top Secret clearance at this location.
