Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAPO) Landing Page: 

 

Bowhead is seeking to network with individuals to join our team for the Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAPO) effort. Positions will be available at Fort Eustis, VA and Redstone Arsenal, AL. On this effort we will perform technical, analytical, and logistics services to support modernization and sustainment of select aircraft and associated equipment and mission planning systems Design, Testing, Simulation, and Deployment of assorted Aircraft, Mission planning software, and acquisition and resource management for Task order supporting:


- Aircraft and Aircraft modifications
- Unmanned systems
- Simulation
- Communications
- Battlefield Data Networking
- Avionics (ASE, Sensors, Mission Planning, Helicopter Armament, GSE, Special Tools and Test Equipment, Flight and Ground Test Activities)

  • Budget Analyst- Levels 1-4
  • Cost/Price Analyst- Levels 1-4
  • Test Engineer/Test Pilot- Levels 1-4
  • Mechanical and Aerospace Engineer- Levels 1-4
  • Electrical Engineer- Levels 1-4
  • Experimental test Pilot
  • Test Pilot (Developmental and Maintenance)
  • Flight Test Engineer
  • Administrative Specialist

Qualifications

  • Degrees and experience levels required will vary upon position and contract requirements at time of award
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Pay commensurate with experience.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
