Overview

Bowhead seeks a Sr. Graphic Artist to support the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) contract located in Washington, D.C. The Senior Graphic Artist will create line art and workflow diagrams, presentations, brochures, exhibits display panels for conferences, artwork for web design, and develop technical solutions where necessary is critical to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced graphic level desktop imagery/video media support
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technical, advanced-level desktop imagery/video support services and software, including an understanding of Microsoft-based desktop tools and concepts for imagery, video and interactive media production.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of precise typography and layout structure for various desktop publishing projects and software training in Microsoft-based applications is necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in relevant discipline is highly preferred.
  • Five (5+) of relevant experience is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
