Overview

DEFENSE ACQUISTIONS INTEGRATED-MASTER SCHEDULER (PM CSS):

 

Bowhead seeks a Defense Acquisitions Integrated-Master Scheduler to support its Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CSS) contract located in Picatinny, NJ. The mission of this contract is to provide warfighter capabilities ranging from terrain shaping operations to mind field breaching. As such, the Defense Acquisitions Integrated-Master Scheduler must be well versed in Defense Acquisition Lifecycle Management Process (aka DOD 5000), Middle Tier Acquisitions, Joint Capabilities Integration Documentation System (JCIDS), and Rapid Prototyping programs to coordinate and synchronize events, deliverables, milestones and decision points of a significant Army Modernization program.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with project officers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to assist with drafting programmatic documentation of assigned PM CCS Projects, technologies, concepts, and/or systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in current Army doctrine of Multi Domain Operations, Army Modernization Priorities, Army Cross Functional Teams, and associated weapons systems and platforms.
  • Coordinate with lead points of contact at DEVCOM Armament Center, Army Test and Evaluation Command, and various Army Centers of Excellence.
  • Demonstrate familiarity or expertise (preferred) with PM CCS programs, projects, products, and systems.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor's degree at a minimum, however a graduate degree is desired.
  • Ten to fifteen (15+) years general experience within management of defense acquisition.
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Project is required PLUS an understanding of DoD Acquisition systems.
  • Prior military experience is a plus.
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Project and Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

  

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
