Overview

Bowhead seeks an Equipment Specialist to support the upcoming Portfolio Manager Command Element Systems (PfM CES) contract located in Albany, GA.  PfM CES acts as the central agent for the research, development, acquisition, and life cycle management of C4ISR systems for use throughout the FMF and the supporting establishments of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).  PfM CES is responsible for the acquisition, production, procurement, fielding, life cycle management, sustainment, and enhancement/refresh of programs within the portfolio. The responsibility also includes the sustainment, obsolescence mitigation, and modernization of legacy systems.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, produce, validate, provide technical input and recommendations to logistics products, and deliver program technical documentation which includes Technical Manuals (TM), Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM), Technical Instructions (TI), Supply Instructions (SI), Modification Instructions (MI), and Stock Lists in accordance with Marine Corps Orders, MIL-DTL-28999D, MIL-HDBK-2361, MIL-STD-40051-1, and MIL-STD-40051-2.
  • Provide ETMs as a hyperlinked Operator and Maintenance Electronic Technical Manual (ETM) with Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) (including exploded views of all assemblies and subassemblies), a Stock List (SL-3), and Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC); a Validation Plan and Validation Report shall support ETMs.
  • Screen all valid National Stock Numbers (NSNs), Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) codes and verify all provisioning and integration into the ETM In Accordance With (IAW) SAE-GEIA-STD-0007.
  • Supports Product Quality Deficiency reports, Equipment Inventories, Provisioning Data Maintenance Analysis, Drawing Package Review, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five (5+) years of technical experience in support of program/projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to this location.
