Overview

SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (FRCASE 2023-18629):

 

Bowhead seeks a Supply Technician to join our team in New Orleans, LA. 

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Generating procurement for the Government customers (Contract & GPC)
  • Performing depot, local or other location supply management duties.
  • Collecting data to establish or recommend action for updating standard operating procedures within government guiedlines.
  • Must have prior knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, poliicies, nomenclature, work methods and manuals to complete assigned task. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least four (4+) years of clerical/data entry computer experience.
  • Any prior experience with governement contracts and locations is helpful.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust and CAC access.  Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.  Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
