Overview

Project Manager (DHS-2023-19052-W):

 

Bowhead is seeking to network with a Project Manager for an upcoming effort at the DHS office in Arlington, VA.  The Project Manager will be responsible for day to day duties, staffing, and coordination of resources in addition to acting as the primary POC for this contract.  

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily operations
  • Oversees current staffing
  • Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule and budget are defined and maintained
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree is required at a minimum in addition to five to eight (5 to 8) years' of experience as a Project Manager 
  • Current knowledge of automated records and information management and accessible is preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent and experience in policies & performance management regarding Section 508 Technology Accessibility and Records /Information Management required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are no Security clearance requirements at this time, however successful candidates must be able to pass a Background check.  Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement based on contractual needs.  Due to the location of this work, candidates must be US Citizens.
