Overview

Maintenance System Administrator (CNRSE-2023-19150):

 

Bowhead is seeking to network with a Maintenance System Administrator for a potential contract at Jacksonville, FL., to provide oversight and supervision of personnel providing operations, logistics and maintenance support to Commander Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE).

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

 

  • Documented experience with a commercial or Navy planned maintenance system.

  • Review and verify maintenance schedules, review and or enter maintenance information into the Commercial Maintenance Program, verify Commercial Maintenance Program information for accuracy and completeness, verify equipment tag-outs are conducted and documented in the Commercial Maintenance Program for all installations called out in this PWS.

  • Conduct and document maintenance program, maintenance processes and business rules quality assurance checks on a weekly basis and provide/compile a written report of all installation's quality assurance checks to the Equipment Maintenance Manager.

  • Will conduct and document quality assurance checks of the maintenance program on a monthly basis and provide a written monthly report to the COR that includes the weekly reports provided by the Maintenance System Administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned

Bowhead seeks to network with qualified individuals relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded.  Incumbent employees are encouraged to respond.  No solicitations or third-party applications will be accepted.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years resume documented leadership and management experience including developing fleet maintenance schedules for vessels, ancillary systems and waterfront equipment predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance.

  • Mechanical experience with outboard, diesel, electrical and hull systems, knowledge of OSR equipment, waterfront and support equipment maintenance is required.
  • Must have the ability to guide and direct small boat maintenance to include outboard engine, diesel engine and hull predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance requirements.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of United States Coast Guard licensing requirements, and the ability to schedule required manpower and equipment for ship movements and operations.
  • Must be knowledgeable with American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) standards.
  • Must be able to develop shipyard and ship repair work packages with specifications.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
