Overview

Project Management Analyst (DNA-2023-19305):

 

Bowhead seeks to network with a Project Management Analyst relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. The Project Management Analyst will support The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department is located at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, MD. DNA provides Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity services and products to NAWCAD, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) headquarters, other Department of the Navy (DON) components, and the Fleet

Responsibilities

The Project Management Analyst will act as Team Lead for the Base Telephone Office.  

 

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. 
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. 
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules. 
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. 
  • Possess effective organizational and communication skills, plans, directs and manages team for all day to day operations, create and manage team scheduling and projects schedules. 
  • Assist with new hires and provide training. 
  • Monitor and resolve employee issues or concerns provide monthly status reports to the Government. 
  • Meet with the Government Team Lead to discuss team status.  Meets with customers to develop end user requirements. 
  • Works with interdepartmental or peer commands to develop processes and requirements. 
  • Works with government approved vendors to supply material/equipment and vendor quotes. 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma OR GED Required Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security highly desired.
  • Minimum five(5) years government or military program analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
