Overview

Summary:

Provides surveillance of the UIC properties; and reporting incidences to appropriate authorities by performing the following duties: Security between the hours of 10:00 P.M. until 6:00 A.M. Wednesday through Total of 8.0 hours per day. Patrol with vehicle through UIC properties; ensuring that areas are secure and free from potential theft and Maintains open and responsive communication with the Maintenance and Operations Manager and Real Estate Manager; and reports any incident; situation; or activity that may affect the company's ability to operate safely; ethically; and Keeps a running log of nightly activities and Warns violators of infractions; such as trespassing; loitering; inebriated persons; vandalism; and calls for assistance in removing persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts with Public Safety at Sounds alarm; or calls police or fire department by telephone in cases of fire or presence of unauthorized Permits only authorized persons to enter UIC Double-checks that buildings are secured. Reports any suspicious persons or activities. Perform other duties as needed. "

While performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high; precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. The wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment mitigates risks associated with these conditions and is mandatory. Work environment is that of a construction site. May be working in close proximity to moving equipment. Cramped or confined spaces Working alone Remote work sites (no dispensary or hospital) Long and/or irregular hours

Must possess the ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly; succinctly; and persuasively. Must be flexible and able to switch from job tasks quickly while supporting multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be able to pass mandatory pre-employment drug screening. Qualifications
