Overview

Fielding Representative (PEOC3T):

 

In support of the PEOC3T Program, Bowhead seeks a Fielding Representative in Aberdeen, MD. The Fielding Representative will be responsible for coordinating the New Equipment Fielding and Training (NET/NEF) activities for PEOC3T systems. This coordination involves working with each of PEOC3T's PM Fielding Offices to synchronize NET/NEF efforts between the respective PM's and other Army elements. This includes systems integration/coordination between PM Fielders, Trainers, and FSR’s for all C4ISR systems that can be fielded together as a cohesive unit set under the auspices of Unit Set Fielding (USF) or Capability Set (CS) Fielding. These fieldings include special projects that arise such as SFAB and CX-K fieldings. Coordination required with external activities of HQDA G3, SoSE&I, PEO Soldier, PEO IEW&S, FORSCOM, MACOMS, installation and FORCE MOD activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of requirements from ONS/MTOE’s/TDA
  • Development of overall NET/NEF plans as well as unit specific plans including Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP’s), New Materiel Introductory Briefs (NMIB’s), NET documentation (TSP’s, POI’s, Life Cycle Supportability Strategies(LCSS), Quick Reference Guides (QRG’s), and other necessary documentation to support System of Systems (SoS) Fielding
  • Delivery of integrated command, control and communications systems to brigade size elements within the Army
  • Oversight of PM fielders, logisticians, and training managers as they develop products and conduct the New Equipment Training and New Equipment Fieldings for each PM in each fiscal year

Successful Applicants must be able to coordinate the fielding process with PM’s and other organizations, develop supporting NET, NEF, and logistics products, possess an in-depth understanding of the Fielding and Training Process, and possess experience with other key phases of the Army Acquisition Strategy such as NIE test readiness, software/hardware interoperability, S/W Configuration Management (CM), and the Materiel Release (MR) process.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to coordinate the fielding process with PM’s and other organizations
  • Develop supporting NET, NEF, and logistics products
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the Fielding and Training Process
  • Possess experience with other key phases of the Army Acquisition Strategy such as NIE test readiness, software/hardware interoperability, S/W Configuration Management (CM), and the Materiel Release (MR) process

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
