Overview

Receptionist (STVA)

 

Bowhead is looking for a Receptionist to join our team at Stafford, VA. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting, identifying, and directing visitors. The Receptionist will be maintaining visitor records and perform incident typing and clerical work assigned. This person may be assisting in arranging special events, meetings and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical functions such as preparing and answering correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging video teleconference calls, and scheduling meetings.
  • Perform general business or technical tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest.
  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, coordinate collection and preparation of reports.
  • Support general business meetings.
  • Onboard New Hires and verify I-9 eligibility.
  • Maintain office inventories.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma (Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, SharePoint PowerPoint and TEAMS.
  • Previous Department of Defense experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
