Overview

MANAGEMENT ANALYST (2024-20541):

 

Bowhead seeks a technical data Management Analyst to join our GXP Platform and Launch Contract at NSWC Crane, IN. The Management Analyst will directly support of the Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Branch and the TMDE database and associated substitution guides. The Management Analyst must be a self-starter who can work independently but also within a team environment, with minimal supervision, and able to stay organized and multitask while meeting deadlines and assisting the program as a whole

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

 

  • Maintain the technical documentation library for the Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Project;
  • Interface with external contractors when necessary to determine documentation status/revision/current release
  • Communicate, collaborate, and follow up/through with all Sub Guide coordinators and TMDE technical team members during the review and Technical Evaluation Review/Report process
  • Perform Data Entry of pertinent elements of documentation reviews into the TMDE Database, ensuring procedural reviews and data entry are completed
  • Review Strategic Systems Program (SSP) Fleet maintenance documentation to identify portable test equipment and identify potential obsolesce issues
  • Manage access to Strategic Weapon System Trouble Failure Reporting Program data system; ensure quality of responses provided to Trouble Failure Reports
  • Investigate and write Trouble Failure Reports (TFRs) as required.
  • Consult with project team members to resolve TFRs; provide responses to TFRs, generate, and provide TFR status reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with two (2) to five (5) years of experience.  Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, however candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
