Overview

Bowhead seeks a Senior Program Analyst in their support to the Navy's Weapons Systems Munitions Integration and Hypersonics division. The program analyst will support the engineering team of research and development munition guidance and fire control project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the support to the Systems Engineering team.
• Maintain the systems engineer processes to support the achievement established technical goals, requirements, and objectives.
• Analyze information to develop program reporting systems including the systems specifications, requirements traceability, data gathering and analytical techniques, and technical configuration and risk status.
• Analyze new or proposed requirements to determine impact on the projects and systems; develop management and/or system evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology; analyze and evaluate proposed changes in mission or operating procedures.
• Support test and evaluation planning and execution.
• Maintain program technical plans and briefings, weekly and monthly status reports, other technical documents and reports, and a wide range of other Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) items, working closely with multiple authors and program sponsors.
• Manage the execution of classified and unclassified in-person and VTC meetings, scheduling, logistics, brief management, and visitor access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or management field, or equivalent technical and/or management experience.
• 20+ years' experience in DoD systems operations, research, development, planning, and/or testing.
• Experience in Navy missile, munition, and/or fire control systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Operation Flank Speed applications including MS Teams.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Candidates with an In-Scope Secret or TS are highly preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
