Overview

Bowhead seeks a Senior General Engineer to support the Project Director Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PD SAI systems
• Participate and assist in the coordination of the systems engineering integrated product team and other technical forums at the PD SAI and subordinate agency level
• Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications
• Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects
• Review, advise, prepare and provide comments to documents including: Logistics Support Analyses plans, technical documentation, reliability and maintainability document, MANPRINT, training manuals, provisioning documents, and database management systems

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related scientific/technical discipline
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively more complex experience in hardware design, development, and documentation

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.


Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
