Senior Configuration Management (CM) Analyst (ECM-2024-21289)

 

Bowhead is seeking to network with multiple highly experienced and qualified Senior Configuration Management (CM) Analysts for an upcoming proposal effort. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Configuration and Data Management, particularly within the context of U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) systems. This role requires a strong background in system engineering processes and specialized expertise in various CM/DM areas.

Responsibilities

Job duties include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Develop and implement Configuration Management (CM) plans and processes.
  • Oversee Configuration Identification, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability of system components.
  • Manage Configuration Control processes to ensure changes are systematically evaluated, approved, and implemented.
  • Maintain Configuration Status Accounting to provide accurate tracking and reporting of configuration items and changes.
  • Conduct Configuration Verification and Audits to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements. 
  • Oversee Data Management (DM) processes, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Other duties as asigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is highly desired.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of general Configuration and Data Management experience.
  • At least five (5) years of specialized experience in one or more specific areas of CM/DM as applied to system engineering processes for U.S. Government and DoD systems. This includes experience with combat systems, system of systems, emerging capabilities, and information technology systems.
  • Specialized experience should include proficiency in:
    • Configuration Management Planning
    • Configuration Identification
    • Configuration Control
    • Configuration Status Accounting
    • Configuration Verification and Audits
    • Data Management

 

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.


Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
