Overview

LABORER (PLTX)

 

Bowhead is seeking Laborer(s) to assist on a temporary basis in our Manufacturing & Products Group Plano, TX facility. The work is expected to last no more than 30 days and will be scheduled during our factory hours of Monday through Thursday, for up to 8 hours per day. Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • The Laborers will assist in moving pallet racks and moving inventory to assist in cleaning and organizing in our warehouse.
  • Candidates must be able to operate a pallet jack as well as push and pull up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
  • The Laborers must be capable of walking, standing, bending, and lifting continuously in our climate-controlled warehouse.
  • Steel toed shoes will be required but any other PPE will be provided as necessary. 

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • At least one to three (1-3) years of relevant experience 
  • Must be able to operate a pallet jack and/or hand tools safely.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is helpful
  • Basic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
