We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, managing, and implementing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, and environmental monitoring.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and prepare technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Design and implement pollution control and waste management systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address environmental concerns.
  • Monitor environmental data and recommend improvements or solutions.
  • Provide technical support for permitting, compliance, and remediation activities
  • Develop sustainable engineering solutions and advise on best practices.
  • Communicate findings and project updates to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, RCRA, CERCLA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and data analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, MATLAB).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in both office and field settings, sometimes in challenging conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs).
    • Knowledge of air quality management, water resources engineering, or waste management.
    • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and modeling software.
    • Experience with planning, logistics, and fieldwork in remote locations.

Authorized Driver Requirement:  Employee must have a valid driver’s license and three (3) year clean driving record. Employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy and Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
