Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) is searching for a highly qualified Marketing and Communications Associate to join its corporate team. UIC is the Alaska Native Corporation for Utqiaġvik, Alaska. The Marketing and Communications Associate will help to facilitate business growth and create brand awareness through unified marketing and communications efforts that are delivered in accordance with the company’s strategic plan and organizational strategy.
With that central purpose in mind, responsibilities include: providing support to UIC’s marketing and communications on all aspects of projects; developing and producing marketing collateral; creating, tailoring and sourcing UIC’s website content; print, web and social media initiatives; coordinating promotional activities and events; sourcing edits and approvals, and fostering collaboration and ownership among those who contribute to all UIC communications.
This is a highly interactive, hands-on position which will coordinate directly with the Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications and other corporate departments and subsidiaries. Work Environment & Conditions:
This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska, with travel to Utqiaġvik, Alaska, statewide, and throughout the Lower 48 as needed. Typical office setting in a large office building. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require frequent standing and walking. Occasional travel to Construction Site Settings. May be subject to environmental conditions of a general office setting/construction setting.
