Overview

ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (BSAD)

 

Bowhead seeks a Acquisition Management Specialist to join our team in supporting the upcoming Navy contract in Charleston, SC.

 

Responsibilities

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Developing Acquisition Plans and other procurement justifications and approval documentation; Source Selection Plans, including development of evaluation criteria; Contract line-item structures; Statements of Work; contract deliverables; task statements; contract modifications; and related contract correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of Federal acquisition experience, or Master's Degree with 3-5 years of Federal acquisition experience
  • Individual shall be capable of providing daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior level personnel. Support includes providing detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
  • Individuals shall have strong computer, finance, and analytical skills. They will often work within teams.
  • Individual should work to be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
