Overview

Program Analyst (Acquisition) Junior:

 

Program Analyst (Acquisition) Junior to provide acquisition support to Unmanned Logistics Services - Air (ULS-A) within PMA-263 Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office.  

 

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst (Acquisition) Junior duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA).
  • Work closely with senior level personnel in the development of Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) and enter into Procurement Management Tool (PMT). Monitor contracts and associated funding requirements.  Monitor status of PID packages through the procurement process and provide weekly updates for programs.
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree with less than 3 years relevant acquisition experience.
  • Experience utilizing Acquisition Management System (AMS) Procurement Management Tool (PMT) tool a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of compiling B-J’s a plus.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft TEAMS preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all in the workforce essential.
  • Must be detailed oriented and organized and a quick learner.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
