Overview

Management Analyst (EOIR 2025-22273):

 

Bowhead seeks an experienced Management Analyst to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane).  The Management Analyst will provide support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects and assist in managing Innovation efforts across Crane.  The Management Analyst will support the Technical Project Management team with project management tasking associated with SOWs/Cost Estimates, Support Agreements, Project Status summaries, Risk Management efforts, Workload Alignment tools, and related Task Management tools as directed by the Technical Project Manager (TPM).

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Provide programmatic support for current programs’ objectives and acquisition strategies, professional program support service including programmatic services, procurement documentation development, financial, logistics and meeting support.
  • Provide analytical and management support including, but not limited to, the following: coordination of management office operations including management of records, schedules and correspondence; analytical support; deliverables tracking; task management; and assistance in the development of milestones and objectives for current programs.
  • Assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings, attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, research, and prepare responses to action items.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of acquisition documentation. Examples are, but are not limited to, the following:

    (1) Prepare acquisition documentation from Acquisition Category (ACAT) I through Non-ACAT programs

    (2) Provide expert knowledge in the preparation and delivery of documentation such as Performance Work Statements (PWS)

    (3) Provide assistance in the development of program/project plans, budgets and schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree in related field with at least ten (10) years of experience supporting ACAT I, II, or III program(s) as Program Analyst. Candidates with Masters' Degree are desired.
  • Experience in direct support of an ACAT 1 program, with experience in logistical programmatic support.  Must possess experience performing program and logistical planning, resource and scope analysis, and scheduling
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. Canidates who currenlty hold a secret clearance are strongly encouraged. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
