Overview

IT Architect (CRNA-2025-22407)

 

Bowhead seeks an IT Architect to join our team supporting the Program Office for NSWC Corona in Norco, California. The IT Architect will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and lead or collaborate with other system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and program analysts within an agile environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the IT needs of the organization and recommend appropriate infrastructure solutions
  • Design, implement, and oversee computer systems and networks
  • Ensure that the designed systems meet both the users and the business’s needs
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends and incorporate them into the IT strategy of the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations
  • Ensure all aspects of the architecture are properly integrated, including hardware, software, and network systems
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery protocols
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget
  • Create documentation for architectural designs, decisions, and procedures for future reference and compliance
  • Work with information security teams to ensure that the architecture meets security needs and complies with relevant regulations

 

Qualifications

  • A high school degree, or a GED, and more than seven (7) years of relevant IT Architecture experience, OR
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of relevant IT Architecture experience OR
  • A master's degree in a relevant field and two (2) years of relevant IT Architecture experience
  • IAT Level II
  • Proven work experience as an IT Architect, IT Specialist, or similar role.
  • Experience in modeling and graphic representations using map-based tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructures.
  • Proficient in database and software programming.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 10-25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically 

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
