Overview

Bowhead seeks a Senior Military Operations Analyst to support JFCC IMD and act as Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Senior SME at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

Responsibilities

• Support C2BMC advocacy to include requirements development and integration of C2BMC execution and planner functions.
• Coordinate with MDA/BC, the C2BMC Multi-Service Leads, and other BMC3I stakeholders to identify required DOTMLPF products and ensure their development by the C2BMC Multi-Service Cell as required.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of the C2BMC to support MDA Element C2 capability development for Aegis, THAAD, Patriot, GMD, other MDS sensors and future MDS capability throughout the Systems Engineering Process to include transition and transfer.
• Attend and support conferences, meetings and briefings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of operational experience that is applicable to the position duties
• Experience in MDS battle management systems and integration to MDS weapon systems
• Strong understanding of Missile Defense and Combatant Commands' areas of responsibility
• Understanding of strategic plans and policy
• C2BMC experience at Combatant Command level is preferred

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility.

 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
