Overview

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EO/IR 2025-23074):

 

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Management Specialist to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane).  The Logistics Management Specialist will serve ascan advisor to the Integrated Product Support Lead (IPS) Lead for Tactical Airborne Sensors (TAS) serving the Airborne Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) domain, and supply LogisticscSupport andcConfiguration/Data Management for military aircraft.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

 

  • Provide specialized programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects
  • Provide coordination and management of records; analytical support, and assistance in milestone development for current projects for Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
  • Provide DRAFT acquisition documents for major systems, subsystems, equipment or components as well as track execution and turnaround times for JXQL contractual actions.
  • The contractor shall prepare and develop acquisition program reports, briefings, briefing materials, and presentation packages.
  • Provide programmatic support for current programs’ objectives and acquisition strategies, procurement documentation development, logistics and meeting support.
  • Support in all areas of Integrated Logistics Support to include but not limited to:
    • Development or updates to Maintenance Plans
    • Monitor/Manage/Execute Support Equipment Logistics and Rework Programs.
    • Program Management (PGM) support
    • Provide documentation and support of depot activation process
    • Generate, implement and review Integrated Logistics Support Plans
    • Technical Data (TD)
    • Material movement, i.e., shipping, receiving, and issuance of 1149 and 1348’s, etc.
  • Provide Configuration Management support to include, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree with five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience
  • Operational knowledge in the Government’s Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) and Navy Enterprise Resource Program (Navy ERP) web-based tools
  • Competent using Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Good interpersonal skills and judgment with the ability to work well alone or as part of a team

 Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

May be required to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) to support meetings, test events, and data collects.

 

 SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
