Overview

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EO/IR 2025-23077):

 

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Management Specialist to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane) to provide specialized programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects managed by the Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD).  The Logistics Management Specialist will additionally provide Configuration and Data Management Support for MTS-Army family of programs, to include but not limited to Common Sensor Payload (CSP) v2 and MTS-A on the Gray Eagle Block-0.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

 

  • Creation/Update of Programmatic Documentation
  • Provide support with the development of technical data packages, and review, providing recommendations and modification as required.
  • Provide support in all areas of Supply Support, including but not limited to:
    •  Managing Fleet Assets
    • Recommendations regarding range and depth of  stocked items
    • Recommendations for source, maintenance, and recoverability (SM&R) codes.
    • Employ product support optimization software for the development and delivery of all Supply Support data.
    • Establish repair of repairable requirements.
  • Assist the Government in the management of Army MTS Technical Data
  • Provide Configuration Management support to include, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree with five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience
  • Data Management (iPDM) web-based toolIn-depth operational knowledge and experience in the Government’s Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) web based tool.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Good interpersonal skills and judgment with the ability to work well alone or as part of a team

 Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

May be required to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) to support meetings, test events, and data collects.

 

 SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
