Overview

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT ANALYST (LAS):

 

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Management Analyst to join our team in serving the 848th Supply Chain Maintenance Group (SCMG) at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. Work will involve supporting a number of efforts and tasks to include, inventory research and analysis based on the findings from a Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and the accomplishment of a variety of analyses and research for customer-identified requirements related to inventory tracking and system and data reporting discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desk-side assistance to 848 SCMG, Supply Planners
  • Detect and analyze various system disconnects (i.e., Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force System (CAV-AF); D035, Stock Control System and D200, Requirement management System) and assist in mitigating various causes for future FIAR findings
  • Assist Supply Planners in understanding the process of tracking in transit assets shipped to and from a repair contractor (i.e., review Tracker and D035 NSNC, DODF and DODG screens in relation to confirming CAV AF and DLA system reporting)
  • Provide support in detecting and resolving errors, data mismatches, and system disconnects
  • Assist Supply Planners in tracking in transit assets shipped to (unserviceable) and from (serviceable) the repair Contractor facility
  • Assist Supply Planners in analyzing processes and with obtaining proper documentation related to asset accountability encompassing physical inventories, issue, receipt, turn-ins, shipment document reviews, and process audits.
  • Document all FIAR related assistance
  • Assist in clearing D035, Stock Control System related exceptions due to shipments of assets to and from contract repair facilities
  • Provide root cause analysis and solutions on system issues that negatively impact US Air Force supply chain performance related to 848 SCMG managed assets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and five (5+) years of directly related work experience or Master’s Degree and four (4+) years of directly related work experience or an additional four (4+) years of work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have working knowledge of Depot Supply Chain Management processes, knowledge and experience working management of contract repair assets, knowledge/experience with shop-process, work-flow, defense logistics support, and quality assurance requirements related to US Air Force/military supply system processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Supply Planner (formerly knowns as an Item manager or Production Management Specialist)
  • Proven success/experience working with supply chain contract repair processes in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Possess expert computer skills for Microsoft products (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Extensive experience, thorough understanding, and ability to mine, analyze, sort, and filter,  data and information from Government Supply Chain Legacy Systems (e.g., Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force System (CAV-AF); Tracker; D035, Stock Control System; FLITES, Foundational Logistics Information Technology Enterprise System; D200, Requirements Management System; FEDMALL; and Basing and Logistics Analytics Data (BLADE)

 

 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is required for a Secret clearance at this location.
