Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to support its customer in Springfield, VA. The Program Manager (PM) shall be responsible for supporting all activities related to performance, financials and burn rate, schedules, personnel, training, security deliverables, and modifications.


• Maintain regular communication with the PMO and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and keep them informed of relevant Contractor-related information, significant risks, issues, and their associated resolution plans and status.
• Oversee the daily operations, staffing, and product delivery in accordance with the SOW.
• Lead and coordinate special projects, tasks and initiatives.
• Independently handle situations or assignments.

• 10 years of contract management experience for Federal Contracting.
• BA/BS, MA/MS, or PhD in business or management.
• Greater than or equal to 15 years of work experience.


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. Must be eligible to obtain a CI Poly. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
