Overview

AUDIO VISUAL SERVICES SPECIALIST (DOA-2022-3044):

 

Bowhead seeks an Audio Visual Services Specialist to support the Department of the Army G3/5/7 mission located in Springfield, VA. The Audio Visual Services Specialist will assist in providing personnel service and logistical support in order to plan, coordinate, and conduct various strategic leader conferences. 

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Sets up, operates, and/or repairs audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences.
  • May also set up and operate associated spotlights and other custom lighting systems.

Qualifications

  • BA/S in relevant field is required.
  • Master proficiency with contemporary computer operating systems and applicable presentation and graphics software.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to this location.
