Overview

Bowhead seeks to network with Training Managers to support on-going and future efforts for the Air Force Special Operations Command's (AFSOC) 1st Special Operations Wing squadron operations at Hurlburt Field, FL. The focus of work is to support non-flying additional duty positions traditionally filled by rated aircrew members.

 

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) training and certification programs
• Support education and training tasks for operations and support training, education services, curriculum development and instructor activities
• Stay up-to-date and track leadership’s priority for training, as well as stay current on upcoming deployment schedules for individuals in a training status
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience working in a squadron Training Office
• Two or more years of experience as aircrew on aircraft
• Demonstrated high degree of understanding and knowledge of Special Ops Forces (SOF) aircrew procedures to include tactics, techniques and procedures, aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, exercise management, and mobility requirements
• Knowledge of Air Force and SOF organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities
• PEX experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
