GENERATOR TECHNICAIN (UICPSS-22-0655-W): Bowhead is seeking a Power Generation Technician with experience with the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of diesel engine driven power generation units to join our team for an upcoming proposal effort. The candidate will have experience working with various makes, models, and brands to include CAT, Cummins, Kohler, MQ Power to name a few. The candidate must be a highly skilled troubleshooter, able to read schematics and wiring diagrams proficiently.

Essential functions will include:

� Proficient use of computer systems, networking, and software

� Absolutely must be highly adaptable, able to adjust plans to work around unexpected obstacles

� Proficient at reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams

� Self-Motivated with a strong work ethic

� Ability to identify and implement cost and process efficiencies to continuously improve services

� Works best as part of a team

� Excellent communication skills, excellent at writing reports and relaying pertinent information to the necessary parties

� Excellent customer service and customer relations skills This position will require 80% travel both within the continental US and outside. Per-Diem will be paid to cover travel costs based off the current rate for the job site location.


� High School Diploma or Bachelors degree required.

� Minimum of five (5) years of commercial generator troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair mandatory

� Parallel generator operations mandatory

� Load bank testing utilizing a resistive load bank mandatory

� Tier 4 Emissions systems operations and maintenance highly desired

� Testing DEF fluid highly desired

� Use of the CAT ET Tool for troubleshooting and calibration desired

� Checking and adjusting valve clearance desired

� Use of Cummins INSITE software for troubleshooting and calibration desired

� Tier 4 Emissions Systems Operations & Maintenance Highly Desired

� Parallel Generator Operations Certification Desired

� EGSA Journeyman Technician Certification Desired

� OSHA Electrical Safety Training Desired

� OSHA LOTO Training Desired

� OSHA Forklift Operations - Desired SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: No clearance required for this position. US Citizenship is a requirement at this location.
