Data Manager (BATS-22-1292-W):


Bowhead seeks a Data Manager who will work as part of a multi-disciplined team generating solutions for Department of Defense and other government customers. The team's focus is on designing, analyzing, producing, testing and delivering innovative prototypes. The Data Manager will be responsible for organizing, monitoring, and maintaining customer technical product and budget information. In collaboration with customers and users, the Data Manager will create data architectures that promote business efficiency and persistent availability to information. Strong understanding of relational and conventional database technology, tools and techniques, standard operating systems, database products and needs, and performance and tuning techniques.


  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in management information systems, computer science, math, science, engineering or a related technology field from an accredited college.
  • 5 or more years of experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of fellow employees and outside contacts
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
