Summary:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction site. Will clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, perform demolition activities, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. Will identify and load/offload building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May assist other craft workers. May perform other duties as assigned.

GEOSPATIAL PYTHON DEVELOPER (DQM):
We are looking for a Geospatial Python Developer to join our Navigation Data Team to assist in developing new tools, data automation process, and improve upon existing systems and data integrations. This position is authorized to be fully remote. Geospatial Python Developer responsibilities will include writing, testing and debugging data automation processes for existing and new tasks. Additional tasks will include coordinating with and extracting user requirements from multiple stakeholders which results in developing new processes, automation and geospatial data sets. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be knowledgeable with GIS data to include shape files, file geodatabases and enterprise geodatabases, basic spatial analysis tools, database ETL and surveying principles. The main goal is to create fully automated, near-real time processes to maintain many national, authoritative datasets for consumption by internal and external customers.
Bowhead seeks a Staff Planner to support the upcoming National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Mission Assurance contract located in Bluemont, VA. The individual will provide on-site support for existing emergency management and mission assurance services, implement new services, and transition new services for new facility projects. They will provide incident management, continuity of operations, and general emergency management and mission assurance support to agency operations. Bowhead seeks part-time, on-call Deckhands to work on a 41’ utility vessel and a 32’ high speed vessel during training operations for the US Coast Guard at Mobile Bay. Deckhands shall be knowledgeable in shipboard operations; rigging for helicopter operations; and deck seamanship. Individual should have stability under pressure and have the ability to withstand the stresses associated with the job's physical demands; potentially hazardous situations; and unpredictable weather.
