Bowhead is seeking a Senior Environmental Restoration Specialist to provide remediation and restoration services to Civil Engineering Unit Juneau (CEU Juneau), in support of CEU Juneau responsibilities throughout the 17th Coast Guard District (D17) area of responsibility (AOR).  The work is focused on USCG Base Kodiak’s RCRA Permit for Post Closure and Corrective Actions (Permit) administration; CEU Juneau projects indicated on the Environmental Restoration and Compliance (EC&R) spend plan; and the USCG Environmental Liability list in the D17 AOR.   Most CEU Juneau environmental remediation and restoration work is related to clean-up and closure activities of USCG managed contaminated sites. In addition, there is also environmental compliance related to shore-side maintenance of existing facilities.
